Winter Brings Several New Poker Titles

With poker's popularity still setting records, it was
only a matter of time before the video game market
capitalized. It's also no coincidence that the #1
demographic for poker (males age 18-40) also holds true
for the gaming software market. All these new titles
feature extremely detailed 3-D graphics and several big
name faces to boot.
Over the past couple of months we've seen 3 big poker
game releases in World Series of Poker, World
Championship Poker 2, and World Poker Tour.
Poker pros have prominently been featured to help
advertise the games. In the WSOP title, Chris
"Jesus" Ferguson lends his persona. World
Championship Poker 2 features Howard Lederer, Greg
Raymer, and others while World Poker Tour
features Mike Sexton and the crew from the Travel
Channel's TV series.
Coming out in February, Stacked with Daniel Negreanu
may be the most highly anticipated. Negreanu has also
brought in a slew of pros to be featured in the game and
the graphics look to be the best in this title. He also
offers extensive playing strategy from within the game.
