I like the bonus at
Pacific
Poker because it's upfront. It isn't a massive bonus but you
also won't have to deal with
stingy playing requirements or convoluted terms in order to see your
extra money. It goes into your account when you make your first
deposit - pure and simple so you'll be able to use it at the tables
or when buying into a tournament. The actual amount of the bonus is
25%, which is good up to $100.
Many sites offer a 100% bonus or more as an incentive but you have
to play ridiculous amounts of hands to actually see it. Micro-limit
players might never even earn a bit of that at some sites. The
intention of
Pacific's bonus isn't to give you cash and let you run
with it. If it was, I wouldn't imagine they would continue to make
any money. There are some wagering requirements before you withdraw
the bonus money, but the point of the bonus is to add to your
playing bankroll. That being said, I've never had had a
problem at this site when cashing out - bonus included or not.
Out of 10, I give
Pacific's
bonus a 10 because you get it right away. It isn't huge, but it's
instant. I've been drawn to new
sites because of huge deposit bonuses but quickly lost my patience
when I realized I didn't read some fine print about it only working
when you play at certain tables. Why even bother to claim to have a
deposit bonus then? It's refreshing to see one of two poker sites
left that still gives an upfront cash bonus.
